While Alliance's victory against Ellet wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Aviators won by a set and slipped past the Orangemen 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Aviators in their matchups with the Orangemen: they've now won five in a row.

Alliance was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 23-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Tasia Hendershot was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 35 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Hendershot wasn't the only good servers: Alliance was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The Aviators are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Alliance's record is now 5-12. As for Ellet, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 8-8 record.

Coming up, Alliance is taking a road trip to take on Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ellet, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Firestone on the 30th.
