Baseball Recap: Fox Creek Comes Up Short

Fox Creek fell victim to Summerville and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Summerville Green Wave.

Fox Creek got a good showing from Andrew Dorries, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Fox Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devin Hillary, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Fox Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Fox Creek will host Airport at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summerville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cardinal Newman at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
