Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maine East). They blew past the Elk Grove Grenadiers 85-65 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Demons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Maine East's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-15. As for Elk Grove, they dropped their record down to 3-23 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.

Maine East will face off against Niles North at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Niles North's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Elk Grove, they will take on Buffalo Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Elk Grove is facing Buffalo Grove at the right time seeing as Buffalo Grove is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
