Middlesex is 8-2 against West Point since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chargers will look to defend their home field against the Pointers at 6:00 p.m. Middlesex has given up an average of 12.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Middlesex came up short against King William on Tuesday, falling 14-1. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on King & Queen Central with a sharp 19-1 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Pointers, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.

West Point is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Middlesex, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Everything went Middlesex's way against West Point when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Middlesex made off with a 7-0 win. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Pointers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
