Bath hadn't done well against Laingsburg recently (they were 0-7-2 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Fighting Bees put the hurt on the Wolfpack with a sharp 4-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Bath, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

The win was the third in a row for Bath, bringing their record up to 9-4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Laingsburg, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 12-2 record.

Bath and Laingsburg should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Fighting Bees (ranked 207th) will meet Durand (ranked 423rd) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Laingsburg will face off against Valley Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (102 vs. 220).
