No. 21 Archer (10-1) has won eight games in a row since a 26-24 loss against No. 8 Grayson (Loganville) on Sept. 11. The Tigers' defense has allowed only 7 points per game during their winning streak.
McEachern (10-1), which has been in the state semifinals the past two seasons, started the playoffs with an impressive 34-11 win against Lowndes (Valdosta). It was also the eighth win in a row for the Indians.
Names to watch: Five Archer players are included in 247Sports' ranking of the Top 51 Class of 2016 prospects in Georgia. Leading the way is five-star receiver

McEachern has four players in 247Sports' list of Georgia's Top 65 seniors. Senior defensive tackle
Julian Rochester, a Georgia commit, is the Indians' lone four-star prospect.
