Soccer Recap: Concord Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Gorham

Concord Christian faced Gorham in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Kingsmen took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. Concord Christian have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Concord Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Gorham, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1-1.

Looking ahead, Concord Christian will be playing at home against Wilton-Lyndeborough at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gorham, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Groveton on the 30th.
