MAST Academy came tearing into Monday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Miami Beach Hi-Tides 3-0. The Makos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hi-Tides, too.

Isa Miguel paced MAST Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Miguel got some help from Mia Davey and her 12 assists. Finally, Sasha Chernikov kept MAST Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

MAST Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Miami Beach, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

MAST Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Miami Springs on the 16th. Miami Beach has also already played their next contest (against American), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
