MacArthur kept a clean sheet against Westfield on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Westfield Mustangs. Given the Generals' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Mustangs are ranked 398th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for MacArthur and bumps their season record up to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two games. As for Westfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.
