La Junta is a perfect 3-0 against Buena Vista since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will face off against the Demons at 2:00 p.m. La Junta has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 2nd.

Manitou Springs hit La Junta with a seven-run fifth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers lost 15-6 to the Mustangs.

La Junta's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Buena Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. La Junta has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .438. However, it's not like Buena Vista struggles in that department as they've averaged .470. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

La Junta took their victory against Buena Vista when the teams last played back in June of 2021 by a conclusive 16-10 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
