Soccer Recap: Northwest vs. St. Joseph Central
After flying high against Rock Hill last Tuesday, Northwest came back down to earth. The Northwest Mohawks came up short against the St. Joseph Central Flyers on Thursday, falling 4-0. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Mohawks struggled afterwards.
Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for St. Joseph Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-2-1.
Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Joseph Central, they will stay at home for another game and welcome North Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. North Adams is coming into the contest with four straight wins on the road, so St. Joseph Central will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
