Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Comes Up Short

Chelsea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lynn Classical Rams, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Lynn Classical can attribute much of their success to Sejla Iriskic, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Iriskic has posted over her last seven games. Salma Motassim also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Chelsea's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lynn Classical, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chelsea will challenge rival Lynn English at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lynn Classical is set to take on their familiar foe Somerville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
