Clay County benefitted from Smith in 19-3 win
While Monday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Darci Smith. She was dynamite on Monday, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Smith and Clay County will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Red Boiling Springs at 5:30 p.m. Clay County and Red Boiling Springs are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
