You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Jefferson Academy on Friday. Everything went their way against the Middle Park Panthers as the Jefferson Academy Jaguars made off with a 44-19 win. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Jefferson Academy had a senior duo take command as Elsa Nygren shot 75% from the field to rack up 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and eight steals and Sofia Pathak almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Nygren continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Avah Berlin, who posted six points.

Jefferson Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 11 consecutive contests.

Jefferson Academy's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.6 points on average over those games. As for Middle Park, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10.

As of now, neither Jefferson Academy nor Middle Park have any future games scheduled.
