Logan Trevino gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Thursday. Nogales had no answer to Trevino as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Trevino also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Schurr is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-11 otherwise.

Trevino's effort led Schurr over Nogales and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long.
