Soccer Recap: Metrolina Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Metrolina Christian Academy and Gaston Day had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Gaston Day this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Addie Foster and Bryce Koppe scored both of Metrolina Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Metrolina Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Gaston Day, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

As of now, neither Metrolina Christian Academy nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
