Softball Recap: Oak Ridge Victorious

Oak Ridge's tournament run continued when they took on Brennan on Thursday. The Oak Ridge War Eagles came out on top against the Brennan Bears by a score of 8-4.

Oak Ridge got a big performance out of Ella Boyer, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Anneliesse Pettway was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Oak Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brennan only hit seven hits.

Oak Ridge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Brennan, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.

Oak Ridge's road trip will continue as they head out to face Judson at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Oak Ridge is facing Judson at the right time seeing as Judson is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Brennan, they will face off against Lake Travis at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
