Bucklin has gone a perfect 10-0 against Satanta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bucklin Red Aces will challenge the Satanta Indians at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bucklin has 14 straight victories, Satanta has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Bucklin strolled past Macksville with points to spare, taking the game 50-32. Given the Red Aces' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 218th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Satanta played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 53-23 loss at the hands of Hodgeman County. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-7.

Bucklin's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Satanta, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Everything came up roses for Bucklin against Satanta in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 76-18 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bucklin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
