Basketball Recap: Novinger Wildcats vs. Meadville Eagles

Novinger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 64-49 to the Meadville Eagles. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Walker Norris was a one-man wrecking crew for Meadville as he went 8 for 12 on his way to 22 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Norris a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Dennis, who posted ten points and five assists.

Novinger's record now sits at 4-13. As for Meadville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.
