Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask O'Dea). Everything went their way against the Bishop Blanchet Bears on Thursday as they made off with a 9-2 win. The Fighting Irish not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15, 2024.

O'Dea's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Bishop Blanchet, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. O'Dea will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lynx will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Fighting Irish surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bishop Blanchet, they are taking a road trip to take on Ingraham at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games the Rams have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
