Hamilton won the last time they faced Willows and things went their way on Friday too. The Braves simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Honkers 61-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Kayden Strong had an outrageously good game as he threw for 143 yards and three TDs on perfect 6-for-6 passing, and also rushed for 48 yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (177.1). Barrett Boehm also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Hamilton, adding 19 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Strong, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hamilton's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Ilan Davis, Cesar Leal, and Aaron Velazquez, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Willows, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Hamilton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-2 victory against Trinity on the 12th. As for Willows, they have also already played their next contest, a 47-0 loss against Orland on the 12th.
