Volleyball Game Preview: Leroy Bears vs. McIntosh Demons

Leroy is on a four-game streak of home losses, and McIntosh a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 1:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Leroy and Washington County, and Washington County kept the tradition alive. The Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19.

Meanwhile, McIntosh came up short against Southern Choctaw on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

McIntosh's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Leroy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Leroy was able to grind out a solid victory over McIntosh in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Demons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
