Softball Recap: Kearsarge Comes Up Short

Kearsarge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Belmont Red Raiders. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Cougars' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Naimah Wilson 2027 and Brooke Aiken 2028 did some serious damage despite the final result: Wilson 2027 went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Aiken 2028 went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Kearsarge's record is now 0-4. As for Belmont, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
