Volleyball Game Preview: Woodcrest Christian Royals vs. Aquinas Falcons

The Woodcrest Christian Royals are taking a road trip to challenge the Aquinas Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodcrest Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Woodcrest Christian had won nine straight home games and Aiden Ahlberg did his part to make it ten two weeks ago. Woodcrest Christian blew past The Webb Schools 3-0 for which the team can thank Ahlberg, who had 11 digs and four assists. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Woodcrest Christian was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Aquinas didn't have quite enough to beat Liberty on Saturday and fell 1-0.

Aquinas' loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Woodcrest Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Woodcrest Christian took their win against Aquinas in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Does Woodcrest Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Aquinas turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
