Licking Heights won the last time they faced Olentangy Orange and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hornets came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 2-0.

Cleveland Brown Jr. paced Licking Heights' offense, picking up six kills. Brown Jr. got some help from Jaden Peach and his 13 assists. Peach was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Licking Heights is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Olentangy Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Licking Heights will welcome Whetstone at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Olentangy Orange, they are taking a road trip to take on Hilliard Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
