Soccer Game Preview: West Davidson vs. Providence Grove

The West Davidson Dragons will venture away from home to take on the Providence Grove Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Davidson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for West Davidson's offense. They fell just short of East Davidson by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, neither Providence Grove nor Thomasville could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. There's a chance things could've gone differently had Providence Grove not been charged with a red card from Eric Gonzalez.

Providence Grove's goal came courtesy of Gonzalez, who's now up to three this season.

West Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-4. Providence Grove's draw gives them a new season record of 8-3-6.
