Soccer Recap: Shades Valley Comes Up Short

Shades Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pell City Panthers, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pell City this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 last Tuesday.

Shades Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Pell City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Shades Valley will square off against Montevallo at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Montevallo will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Shades Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pell City, they will take on Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
