Soccer Recap: Argyle Comes Up Short

Argyle's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Colleyville Heritage Panthers by a score of 1-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Argyle's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2-1. As for Colleyville Heritage, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Denton the next time they take the pitch. Colleyville Heritage will host Denton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Argyle will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th.
