Football Game Preview: Allentown Redbirds vs. Ewing Blue Devils + Official Tickets

The Allentown Redbirds will head out to challenge the Ewing Blue Devils at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Allentown has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while Ewing will come in with four straight wins.

Allentown is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Northern Burlington on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Redbirds took a blow against the Greyhounds, falling 41-6. The Redbirds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ewing). They blew past KIPP Cooper Norcross 42-6 on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Blue Devils with their most commanding win of the season.

Allentown's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ewing, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Everything came up roses for Allentown against Ewing in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-13 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redbirds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
