Lynn Classical was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lynn English on Friday. The Rams put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 17-5 victory. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

The team relied heavily on Emma Chevalier, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Braswell, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Lynn Classical was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The win got Lynn Classical back to even at 2-2. As for Lynn English, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
