Volleyball Recap: Spokane Extends Winning Streak to Four

Spokane waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the School of the Ozarks Patriots 3-0. For the Owls, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Spokane took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-15.

Spokane was led to victory by Carley Collins and Chezney Lee. Collins had 16 digs and two aces, while Lee had nine digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Lee a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why School of the Ozarks lost, don't look at Ashlynn Saffle. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs.

Spokane's victory bumped their record up to 16-4-2. As for School of the Ozarks, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-6-3.

Spokane wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Forsyth on the 6th. As for School of the Ozarks, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sparta at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
