Baseball Recap: Loris Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Loris duked it out with Newton Falls on Tuesday. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 7-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Loris' victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Newton Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Loris will square off against Georgetown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Newton Falls, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Doddridge County at 2:00 p.m.
