Basketball Recap: 12 Straight Home Wins for Northeastern

Northeastern entered their tilt with Tri on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 55-45 victory over the Tri Titans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Northeastern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Payne, who went 8-for-12 en route to 17 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Payne a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tre Vanlandingham, who posted 14 points and five assists.
