Volleyball Recap: Christian Heritage Gets the Win

The Christian Heritage Lions narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the McEachern Indians 2-1.

Kristen Michmerhuizen paced Christian Heritage's offense, picking up 11 kills. Michmerhuizen were helped by Addison Green and Carly Bramlett, who contributed 11 assists each. Green was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Christian Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 14-22. As for McEachern, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-21.

Christian Heritage and McEachern could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Lions (ranked 231st) will meet Ringgold (ranked 91st) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McEachern will face off against River Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (237 vs. 14).
