Basketball Recap: Eau Claire Shamrocks vs. Fairfield Central Griffins
The Eau Claire Shamrocks fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. Eau Claire had a senior duo take command as Asa Price scored 18 points and Aric Hicks scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Price has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Aden Price, who scored eight points.
Eau Claire's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Fairfield Central, they dropped their record down to 5-18 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Eau Claire will be playing in front of their home fans against the Capitals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Fairfield Central, they will head out on the road to face off against the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keenan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully the Griffins like a good challenge.
