Basketball Recap: Hattiesburg HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Hattiesburg HomeSchool lost against Full Life Christian Academy on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hattiesburg HomeSchool Forerunners fell 38-30 to the Full Life Christian Academy Falcons. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Forerunners came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while the Falcons are ranked 616th).

Full Life Christian Academy was led to victory by Myles James and Parker Foutz. James posted 15 points, while Foutz had 13 points.

Hattiesburg HomeSchool has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Full Life Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hattiesburg HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oak Park Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Full Life Christian Academy also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Central Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
