Basketball Recap: Coginchaug Regional's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Coginchaug Regional lost against Old Lyme back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils fell 56-49 to the Old Lyme Wildcats.

Coginchaug Regional's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7. As for Old Lyme, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

While Coginchaug Regional had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
