Service lost to West Anchorage back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Cougars never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's two games straight that Service have won by exactly two goals.

Sage Phimmasone and Mark Stacy scored both of Service's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Service and bumps their season record up to 2-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for West Anchorage, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Service will host Dimond at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
