Basketball Game Preview: St. Albans Bulldogs vs. Episcopal Maroon

The St. Albans Bulldogs will face off against the Episcopal Maroon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for St. Albans and four for Episcopal.

Last Saturday, St. Albans ended up a good deal behind Sandy Spring Friends and lost 79-61.

St. Albans might have lost, but man, Jaylen Wills was a machine: he almost dropped a double-double with 28 points and nine assists. Those nine assists gave Wills a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Xavier Wigglesworth, who posted six points.

Meanwhile, Episcopal came up short against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes on Tuesday and fell 68-56.

St. Albans' defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
