Basketball Game Preview: East Paulding Raiders vs. Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs

The East Paulding Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Paulding is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Last Friday, East Paulding lost to Lithia Springs at home by a 80-62 margin. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 364th, while the Lions are ranked 180th).

Meanwhile, Kennesaw Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-55 heartbreaker at the hands of South Paulding.

Kennesaw Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for East Paulding, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.

East Paulding might still be hurting after the 61-40 defeat they got from Kennesaw Mountain when the teams last played back in January. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point East Paulding was down 40-19.
