The Cambridge School won the last time they faced Victory Christian Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Griffins walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffins.
The final score came out to 25-20, 27-29, 29-27, 25-17.
Victory Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brad Chier, who had 17 kills, 16 digs, two aces, and one block. Chier is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had seven or more in each of the last 11 games he's played. Esteban Torres was another key player, getting ten digs and two aces.
The Cambridge School's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Victory Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-6.
