Baseball Recap: Flushing Takes a Loss

Flushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Bayside Commodores. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Commodores this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 on Wednesday.

Flushing's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bayside, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flushing will challenge Newtown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bayside, they will square off against Bowne at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
