Soccer Game Preview: Stoney Creek vs. Rochester

The Stoney Creek Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Rochester Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stoney Creek's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Stoney Creek turned things around against Plymouth on Saturday. Neither they nor the Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Rochester strolled into their game on Saturday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They never let Spring Lake get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Rochester's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Spring Lake are ranked 39th).

Stoney Creek's draw gives them a new season record of 2-7-3. As for Rochester, their win bumped their record up to 10-0-3.
