Baseball Recap: Hamilton Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hamilton Christian entered their tilt with Merryville on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 5-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 last Monday.

Noah Menard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on one hit and racked up 12 Ks. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Grant Menard, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Menard, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Hamilton Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Merryville, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-6.
