It was a good run, but Battle Ground Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Franklin Road Academy Panthers. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Battle Ground Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-22, 25-15, 25-18.

Battle Ground Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Franklin Road Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Battle Ground Academy will head out to take on Grace Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin Road Academy, they will be playing at home against Donelson Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
