Softball Recap: Selma Find Success

Selma came out on top against El Diamante on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Bears walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Miners. That's two games straight that the Bears have won by exactly four runs.

Audrina Quintana was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lillyen Moreno, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Selma has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Selma will host Mission Oak at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for El Diamante, they will welcome Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
