Campbellsport had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came out on top against the Markesan Hornets by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Smith Ellie paced Campbellsport's offense, picking up six kills. Ellie got some help from Schwartz Gracie and her eight assists. Ellie was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Campbellsport's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Markesan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Campbellsport didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Laconia on the 20th. As for Markesan, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Omro on the 20th.
