Basketball Recap: Pitt County P Comes Up Short

Pitt County P lost against Trinity Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pitt County P Pacers lost 49-25 to the Trinity Christian Tigers.

Christian LoPresti was a one-man wrecking crew for Trinity Christian as he went 6 of 11 to rack up 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. LoPresti has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Marion Wright, who posted seven points.

Pitt County P's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Trinity Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-22.

Coming up, Pitt County P will take on Greenville Christian Academy in a tournament on Saturday. As for Trinity Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Jacksonville Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
