Volleyball Recap: Milwaukee Riverside Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Milwaukee Riverside challenged Audubon on Wednesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2.

Milwaukee Riverside took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-17, 17-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Audubon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elena Mejia-Rodriguez, who had five aces.

Milwaukee Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Audubon, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

As of now, neither Milwaukee Riverside nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
