West entered their tilt with Taylorsville on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

While West might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Taylorsville scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 17-25, 25-22, 25-23.

Amara Kalama paced West's offense, picking up nine kills. Kalama got some help from Marisia Hansen and her 34 assists. Leatula'I Pututau controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

West's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Taylorsville, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
